![]() ![]() "Embers Ad Infinitum", great novel with great sense of world building and adventure. "Is that a wisp", was meant to be very funny but I did not enjoy it at all. "I am really a Superstar", the comedy is not bad but it is a very rinse and repeat face smacking which I got bored of by the time I hit the 300th chapter though I cannot put a word on why I disliked this novel. "I Shall Seal the Heavens", which has some degree of comedy, is not really up to my taste as the long rambling chapters on cultivations and fights makes the fight in Dragon Ball Z feel like a 2 mins skirmish. While I did not enjoy the later part of both books as it started taking itself too seriously, I truly did enjoy the fist half which were just filled with gag one after the other.Ī few webnovels with the comedy tag, I read but I didn't quite enjoy the comedy were: I like these two because the MCs are shameless, the comedy is akin to what you would see in a Stephen Chow movie where the results are so absurb that you know it is just there as a plot that will end up in a comedic manner. I am looking for a comedy webnovel that is easy to kill time while listening while working on mindless tasks without having to think too much and the story doesn't take itself too seriously. My current 2 favorite example would be "The Strongest System" and "Library of Heaven's Path".
